On Friday at 9:12 p.m. an updated flood warning was issued by the National Weather Service in effect until further notice for Georgetown and Williamsburg counties.
The weather service states, “Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast for Santee River near Jamestown.”
“At 24.0 feet, water will start to enter the lower level of the home at the end of Lawton Farm Lane,” comments the weather service.
