A winter storm warning was issued by the National Weather Service on Tuesday at 12:16 p.m. valid from 9 p.m. until Wednesday 8 a.m. for Dillon, Florence and Marion counties.
The weather service describes, “Total snow accumulations between 1 and 3 inches with locally higher amounts possible.”
“Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday morning commute,” describes the weather service. “If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.”
This warning is in effect until Wednesday at 8 a.m.
