The National Weather Service issued an updated wind advisory at 8:39 p.m. on Tuesday in effect until Wednesday at 6 a.m. for Dillon, Florence, Marion, Williamsburg, Georgetown and Horry counties.
The weather service says, “Southwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.”
“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” comments the weather service. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Secure outdoor objects.”
This advisory is in effect until Wednesday at 6 a.m.
